Two primary kinds of modular building construction or pre-fabricated construction exist, and those are mobile office units and modular buildings. Mobile office units are made basically out of pre-constructed stock structures which are regularly utilized by construction businesses for their short term office workspace. Modular building, on the other hand, allow the user to customize it according to their own specifications.
The construction of both types of buildings is conducted in a factory controlled environment and built with the same materials of a traditional building. The complete structure isn't made in a single piece, rather the floor plan is divided into separate modules which may be shipped over the road. Each module has different size ranges in regulation with state shipping rules.
Usually, about ninety percent of a modular building is pre-constructed at the factory. Carpeting, ceilings and wiring are all pre-built into the modules. Building modules are assembled in to a building structure once all parts have been transported to the construction site.
Most modular buildings consist of one floor ,for a total of up to two thousand feet. Modular buildings can be utilized for large spaces up to tens and hundres of thousands of square feet and can be multiple stories tall.
